Cas209に対して病原性のない菌はフィリピンだけに多数分布しており，他の国からは全く採取されなかった。","subitem_description_language":"ja","subitem_description_type":"Other"},{"subitem_description":"Variation in pathogenicity of Xanthomonas campestris pv. oryzae collected from 7 tropical countries in South and south East Asia was examined. The isolates were divided into 26 races due to their pathogenicity on 12 differential rice varieties, Kinmaze, Kogyoku, Chugoku 45, IR8, IR20, IR1545-339, DV85, Java14. Te-tep, Cas209, PI231129 and IR24. Distribution of these races wan quite characteristic by the countries. In general, isolates from Bangladesh and India had wide spectrum of pathogenicity, contrary, these from Thailand and Philippines showed narrow one. Resistance of DV85 didn't operate to many of isolates from Bangladesh but it was resistant to most isolates from the other countries. Cas209 was not resistant to any isolates other than Philippines. Kinmaze, IR8 and IR24 which had been known as the most susceptible varieties showed complete resistance to BM8417 and BM8429 isolates from Burma, suggesting existence of unknown resistance gene (s). All of 249 japonica varieties tested ware resistant to the two isolates.
